Infertility is one of the biggest problems which can lead to isolation and impact on couple’s relationship. Struggling to get pregnant can be a serious blow to the self esteem for both men and women. We all know that men and women both are affected by infertility in a different ways. Alice D. Domar, Ph.D., executive director, The Domar Center for Mind/Body Health, Boston IVF says that couples who are undergoing fertility treatment clearly experience a rollercoaster of emotions. The desire to start a family and having own child but failure in achieving this natural process can impact very badly on couples life. It can affect everything from the marital relationship to interactions with future grandparents and friends who become pregnant or new parents.

Men from infertile couples often feel overwhelmed by the intensity of their partner's emotions as well as an inability to access their own. They tend to focus their energy back into their work, a place where they feel they can achieve more success and happy life.

A woman who is going through infertility, experiences intense feelings, such as pain, anger, fear, etc. As feelings spill out, she feels out of control and doesn't really know how to ask for what she needs, especially from the husband she is struggling so hard to protect. She may yearn for an emotional connection/interaction at one moment and in the next withdraw emotionally from her husband when she fears she has disappointed him. It is the first thing she thinks about all the time. She often has difficulty concentrating at work and difficulty relaxing and/or sleeping. She is often tearful and moody. She can experience intense jealously and resentment towards others who are pregnant or have children.
One is the most important aspect of a couple’s relationships that can be profoundly affected by infertility is their sex lives. As one woman said, infertility is, “Terrible for your sex life”.

Treat Infertility with Cinnamon
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the biggest causes of infertility. It affects as many as 10 percent of women. This is a common disorder in women that creates irregular menstrual periods, acne, obesity and excess hair growth. The condition impairs fertility, due to which women struggle to become pregnant. It encourage the high level of insulin resistance that is associated with the disorder. It is one of the main factors that cause infertility. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects about 5 million young women in the U.S. This condition occurs due to imbalances in hormones associated with reproduction.

Researchers found that many diseases that human beings suffer from on a daily basis are not only cured by the industrial medicines but it can also cured by the use of naturally produced substances like cinnamon. Cinnamon is an aromatic spice or medicine made from the dried brown bark of tropical southern Asian cinnamon tree. You can find it in two varieties such as Chinese and Ceylon. They both have similar flavor. It is one of the world’s most beloved spice.  It has a miracle power to cure fertility as well.

Fertility can be improved in women affected with a common hormonal disorder. Health Day reported that Dr. Daniel Kort, a postdoctoral fellow in reproductive endocrinology at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York City found that cinnamon supplements can help women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) become pregnant. It has been used for years to curb heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), including heavy bleeding due to endometriosis and uterine fibroids.

The study showed that cinnamon reduced insulin resistance by increasing phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase activity in the insulin signaling pathway. This potentiates the action of the insulin. Resistance to insulin increases the body’s insulin levels. It has been found that who took the cinnamon had greatly reduced insulin resistance. One study suggests, cinnamon may also reduce insulin resistance by slowing the movement of food from the stomach to the small intestine. This slows the breakdown of carbohydrates, which is important for people with diabetes and women with PCOS.

Research at the Human Nutrition Center at Tufts found that cinnamon triples insulin’s ability to metabolize glucose (blood sugar), protecting people against diabetes, lowering hunger, lowering sugar cravings, while increasing weight loss. Weight loss is often a difficult part of living with PCOS. Many women find that losing weight is next to impossible when living with PCOS. Cinnamon may be one of the best  natural way to improve weight loss in women with PCOS.
